What is Voice in a Million?

On Thursday 28th January 2010, The Classic Media Group, is launching ‘Voice in a Million’ at London’s 02 Arena.

The concert at the 02 will be the first in a series of events worldwide, which over the course of the next year, will enable us to reach our goal of recording one million children’s voices in harmony; and more importantly, help broaden the awareness of the millions of orphaned and abandoned children that need a new mother, father, home and family … for life.

What’s the start time/end time?

Participants need to arrive at the o2 Arena at 2.00pm on Thursday 28th January 2010

Concert starts at 7.30pm

Concert ends at 10.00pm (Approx)

How many children are you asking to perform?

We anticipate four thousand so there is enough room for everyone. Bring your class or your  School

How will we rehearse?

The great thing is you can do it in your own time!

On the day of the event there will be a full rehearsal at the 02 with the Musical Director

Is there any charge for the event?

For participants  & chaperones  there is a £10 fee to cover the cost of the T-Shirt and administration  and a seat for the event which can be paid online HERE

I have a great solo artist, do they have a chance?

Of course! We are keeping our ears open for those hidden talents amongst the group.

All potential soloists must audition – the auditions will be held at T Stage Shepperton Studios, Middlesex

Through out the next few months  you just need to call to book your audition slot on 01932 592016

All auditionees will be asked to sing one song from the track list on the website HERE

I can send you a recording of our group/artist, how can I get it to you?

Sending recordings are not necessary although if you wish great!

If the tracks are online then send us a link with any additional information e.g.. Venue recorded/song title and of course artists. If its on CD then send it into this address:

You will be informed later of any feedback we have. Remember this is not a contest so even if they are not chosen to sing solo we still would love to have you sing as part of the project.

Why so soon and are there any later or other dates?

The 02 is the launch of the Voice in a Million Project. There will be further arena concerts throughout 2010, details and dates will be posted on this website as they are confirmed.

Will it be recorded?

Yes. More details to be announced soon.

My children have special needs is this a problem?

Not at all. All we ask is that you advise us of the increase in ratio of chaperone to child,   generally 1/10 . we would just need to ensure

we have allocated any additional chaperones seats
