Voice in a Million was officially launched with an inaugural concert at the 02 Arena, London on Thursday 28th January 2010, which gathered a staggering 5000 strong children’s choir from schools and vocal groups from across the UK performing tracks from the Voice In A Million Songbook in front of a 7000 audience. The event was co-hosted by Sinitta, TV & Radio personality, Nicky Campbell, music legend Rick Wakeman, James O’Brien (LBC Radio Presenter), actress and musician Clare Grogan and Zara Phillips, who all have a personal connection to adoption.
The project has previously been featured on National Television, including the National Adoption Week campaign, released a string of download singles worldwide and continuously appeared on numerous Regional Radio Stations and in the Local and National Press.
Since then we have produced two more arena events, again at the O2, with a choir of 7,500 children and at the Liverpool Echo Arena. Our next events for 2012 are at Wembley Arena and the LG Arena in Birmingham. We are also expanding into regional theatre shows, the first of which are taking place in November 2011 in Hull and Dartford.
