This was our first year with VIAM and I sincerely hope it will not be our last!

My husband and I were bowled away by the sheer size, organisation and professionalism of the event

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the preparation and the evening

It was spectacular!

You should be very proud of your achievements, as indeed we are of our daughter and her school

Thank you so much for letting us be a part of something so special

Something so special !

We had an amazing day and cannot thank you and the team enough for all your help in making it possible for our school. I witnessed a child in my group do something I never imagined possible and participate in the banner parade. He is beaming with pride and confidence back at school. The children (and adults)are looking forward to next year already! I am even hoping to get our link School on board

Heyford Park Free School would like to say a huge thank you for a fabulous event on Wednesday. The students have not stopped talking about it and are desperate to do it again next year! It was a fabulous day and a real life memory for them. I also find it very poignant like you as I adopted twins at aged 6. They are now 18. I cried along with you on Wednesday.
Can’t wait until next year. We have already registered and asked for another workshop.

We are an adoptive family and have been since 2007. We came to VIAM last night, Mum, Dad, Granny, Grampa and eldest and youngest daughters in the audience and middle daughter in the Choir, with her school, Hillcrest, New Barn.

What a show! What an opportunity! What a great message. Thank you.

We have first hand experience of our children struggling at school despite dedicated teachers and we completely agree with the need for greater training  for teachers and also for the LA education team.

We had the best time. Our school is for mainly children in care.. the issues were very close to their heats!

I just wanted to send you a huge thank you for yesterday’s event.  We had a truly amazing time from start to finish!  It was so well organised; everyone we met was friendly and helpful – adding to the enjoyment of the day.

Our choir loved performing on the stage and their parents were truly amazed and proud at what their children had achieved – as was I!!

VIAM is unlike any other event, the children in our school aspire to be part of the choir and to be a part of VIAM.  I have had so many children approach me this week who are desperate to join the choir and perform.  The impact it has is so far reaching especially in a place like Dagenham where aspirations are low, it is truly inspirational.

So THANK YOU  once again from all the children, parents and staff at Marsh Green!

Wow – we had a fab time!  Thanks for all your help with getting us organised.  All went very smoothly and a great day out was enjoyed by all.

Hopefully the same again next year!

All the staff and children from Orchards Junior School wanted to say a huge thank you! As it was our first VIAM we didn’t really know what to expect but all the parents loved it and both staff and pupils alike had such a lovely and fun day! It will be something we will now be continuing to run in the future for sure! We cannot wait to see the videos from the event and the group shot we had with the stage!

Thanks again,

Thank you and well done for last night. All three of the choirs I run had such an amazing time. We had lots of really positive responses from all of the parents who came.
Also thanks for giving Saxon the opportunity to perform on the main stage, this will be an experience that they will remember for ever. I wanted the moment to last forever when I was watching them all up there last night, it was amazing!!

it was amazing!!

Just to say big thank you from our pupils and Challney girls for a wonderful evening.  We have been on stage last year and tried the other way this year.

The atmosphere was electric and I think our schools have done more dancing, including their own choreography this year. As i was on stage last year I did not get to see all the performances. It was great today to see it all and I am looking forward to seeing even more tomorrow.

We had an absolutely fantastic night and the children (and adults!) loved every minute.

Well… Wow! I thought after six years my admiration for the team and the production of VIAM had reached its height, however last night exceeded expectations again. A HUGE thank you to the whole team for patience, understanding (and the gentle art of nagging!), to the crew, dancers and staff on the night and to you Jo, truly remarkable. Thank you.

Before normal life resumes again I wanted to contact you to just say what an amazing experience the VIAM concert last night was for the  children, staff and parents at Haynes Lower School.

Contacting VIAM last year and bringing the children and staff to the concert was one of the best decisions I have made as Head teacher so far.

See you next year!

Best wishes…… Head Teacher

One of the best decisions I have made as Head teacher so far

I was fortunate and absolute amazed to watch Voice in a Million at Wembley last night 9th March 2016.

Thank you all for letting  my daughter part take in such an event that really supports young people who become vulnerable due to no fault of their own and at times at such young age. Thanks again, hopefully my daughters school will enrol again for 2018.

Fortunate and absolutely amazed
On behalf of everyone at Ley Hill School, we would like to say ‘Thank you for such an amazing time at Voice in a Million concert at Wembley – 2nd March 2016’.
The concert was fantastic, a once in a lifetime event they will remember forever. The children were thrilled to be on stage singing and dancing to such a brilliant list of contemporary songs that they could relate to and will inspire them in their music lessons.
The Ley Hill children were extremely excited to see all the other performers and be part of such a worthwhile cause. The whole event was so professionally organised and stress free for us teachers which I have to say was a major plus.
Even though there were so many other schools present, it really felt like everything was ordered and the children were safe at all times – we felt like one big family! ….Ley Hill School

A once in a lifetime event they will remember forever
Well done on another fantastic event, with such dedicated staff that go out of their way to make things easy!
It’s so great to involved in such an inspirational event. Children’s and parent’s feedback has been excellent this year.…. St Leonard’s Lower
Another fantastic event

a HUGE thank you for the wonderful concert last week. We were thrilled to be on stage – what an experience for the children!...The Vale Primary

Wonderful Experience
Wow, what another incredible night. We had a wonderful time and to see it all come together for yet another year made it so special, thank you.

I know I say it every year but I continue to be amazed at the way in which everyone gives so much, the friendliness of the staff is simply outstanding. From the dancers, to singers, to other schools, the way in which everyone gelled was just brilliant. You should be very proud of what you have all achieved not only have you raised the awareness of adoption but also highlighted just how much can be gained by bringing together the children through music. The children at my academy are still buzzing, thank you….…Cherry Tree Academy

VIAM2016 – Another Incredible Night

There are simply no words to describe the experiences the children had. It was our first year and certainly NOT our last……..Ravenscote Junior School

Very well organised event
A huge thank you for a wonderful, memorable evening. This was our 4th VIAM event and 3rd at Wembley. 83 children ranging from 6 – 10 years old, from Cherry Tree Academy sang, danced and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The organisation as ever was brilliant, exceptionally so this year. I take my hat off to the team who put so much in every step of the way and have patience second to non.

Finally, it was incredible to receive an email from a parent of one of our youngsters who has been thinking of adoption for a long time. Their journey is now one step closer thanks to Wednesday night as it gave them the encouragement to begin the conversation with their son. Fantastic news.

See you next year….Cherry Tree Academy

Cherry Tree Academy
Orleans Primary and I cannot thank you enough for a really, really amazing night and for giving us the wonderful opportunity to sing on stage with sooooooooo many amazing children!

We were all incredibly proud of our little ones in Wake Me up, Stars, Never forget and Let it go….

I also wanted to add how helpful you were ALL the time, always happy on the end of the phone to answer our many questions. Nothing was too much too ask even when we phoned on the day to say we had had an overlook in tickets numbers and it was sorted out promptly as well as the fact we hadn’t ordered enough t shirts, also sorted out by yourselves and your wonderful member of staff, Stef!

Another thing which was brilliant was despite the fact that you guys were so busy on stage you still took the time to speak to everyone and also so reassuring that you knew the kids well and we were so so delighted to be able to stay on stage with our children, that was really wonderful

Wow, fantastic, fandabidozy, exhilarating superb…….well I just can’t find the right words to describe the ecstatic feeling I felt onWednesday night (our children also had a fabulous time).  I have worked here at Benwick Primary School for nearly 30 years and I have never experienced or enjoyed anything as much as I did on Wednesday .  I am now pressing for us to return next year.  Well done to you and your team for all your hard work, special thanks to the young man who was on the corner of the stage directing us with the moves  –  I certainly couldn’t have done it without him and all my aerobic exercises done for the year!  My feet are still aching but everytime I think about them I just smile and remember how worthwhile it was.    I cannot believe that you could pull together so many children / schools to make it happen.  I will recommend to my friends who work in other schools to watch out when the booking opens for next year.

Once again, thank you and all your team for the show.  Look forward to seeing you next year…..School Secretary

Benwick Primary
I just wanted to say thank you for another wonderful VIAM evening.  We really enjoyed the whole day and our children were absolutely thrilled to have taken part.

I’d also like to say a big thank you to Cathy – who very kindly found me some glo-sticks and hand delivered them to me in the afternoon – when I am sure she had plenty of other things to do.  Please pass on our thanks to everyone involved in the show – particularly the behind the scenes staff who may not be seen as easily but who obviously work tirelessly to make sure it all runs smoothly.

The quality of the performances on the main stage were fantastic and continue to inspire our children.

Well done and thank you,..Benwick Primary School
